- An unusual enlarger being branded Agfa but clearly (to me) made by DURST
- This is very similar to the Durst AC707 having the transformer built into the column base.
- The negative holder is Durst made, taking their masks, the lens holders are SIRIONEG etc.
- The switchable illumination, between 35mm and 6×7, is exactly as Durst made their late enlargers
- Fully checked and fully working; new lamp installed, all surfaces cleaned and what superficial rust that was evident and might affect use has been polished till fully usable
- This example comes with a 56(D) x 50(W)cm baseboard and a maximum 115cm column
- This is a superb enlarger for a dedicated worker who wants a top quality, late enlarger
- Versatile movements, head can be swung through 90 degrees or taken off completely. Lens stage can rotate and also use shift too
- Comes with two lenses: 50mm f/2.8 Magnolar, likely the same as the Durst Neonon and Made in Japan. Also comes with 80mm f/5.6 Magnolar (MiJ) suitable for medium format films. Both lenses are clean and clear, no visible fault/s
- Negative carrier holds up to 6×7 format negatives and comes with 2x glass inserts. Also comes with 35mm Slide insert (for base only). Various mask inserts (size: 75x64mm) are readily available online for 35mm negatives, 126 & 127 film, 120 film formats: 6×4.5, 6×6 & 6×7
- Instructions are included (in 5 languages), as is a Parts List, both A4 size
- The control dial near the button on the back right is for measuring sensitivity / density of negatives, working in conjunction with the probe shown (there is no built in timer)
- All colour controls work smoothly, the IN / OUT colour filter switch works well, as does the format illumination switch
- Magenta & Yellow are the two colours used for B&W Multigrade printing, the various settings required are detailed in every pack of Ilford paper sold, or can be found online on Ilford’s website
- The original enlarger was sold with a vacuum plate (for paper holding) and I have the suction pump but not the pale itself, please enquire if you have any interest in that.
- Collection welcomed from our shop in Liverpool
- Delivery is possible at fuel cost expense
- Posting isn’t really feasible with something this large and heavy
