Philips PCS 2000 35mm Colour B&W & Multigrade Enlarger, with Controller/Timer – Boxed

• A very well built 35mm Colour & B&W / Multigrade enlarger
• Made in Japan, for Philips, (likely by LPL)
• This enlarger uses the (rare) additive system, (Philips called it ‘Tri-One’)
  adjusting the brightness to the 3 separate lamps, rather than reducing
  the light by putting more filters in front of it
• Comes with Philips PCS 2000 Tri-One Control Unit
• Suitable for Colour, Multigrade, or plain Black & White printing
• Multigrade contrast values are supplied with each packet of Ilford paper
• The negative carrier is capable of holding 120 film for 6×6 and 6×4.5cm format
  printing, and also comes with 24x36mm metal inserts/masks for 35mm printing.
  The mixing box inside the enlarger is suitable only for 35mm, alternate ones can
  be found (for 6x6cm use) online from time to time
• All checked and tested, this operates all three colour channels via the Control Unit
• The Control Unit also acts as a timer (left hand dial)
• Good cosmetic condition, control unit shows some flaking external paint and light scuffs
• Baseboard Size: 45 (W) x 50 (D) x 82cm (Max. height)
• Perfect 50mm f/2.8 EL NIkkor lens included for 35mm printing
• Comes with diffuser filter below lens for measuring exposures (if needed)
• Lens panel is reversible, gets a 50mm lens closer to the negative and a 75mm or
  80mm lens (for medium format) further away
• Small points: a small corner knock has made this baseboard slightly less than perfect
• Please enquire if you require further darkroom items: trays, chemicals,
  thermometers, darkroom safelight, tongs, changing bags, paper, etc.
