Serial 19659, lens 36020
- The original Scoopic 16 (no sound) launched in 1965 as the world’s first 16mm movie camera with a built in zoom lens. As the “scoop” name suggests it was aimed at professional news gatherers but it’s high spec and novel design made it popular with many other users.
- This example has just had it’s optics cleaned and one of the batteries re-celled. Two original batteries are included – the second one will need re-celling to be used. In the original bespoke case with a battery charger, lens hood, lens cap, rubber eyecup and two filters
- Built in 13-76mm manual focus zoom lens
- The motor is running smoothly and correctly but the camera has not been film tested
- Nice cosmetic condition camera, the lens is lovely after being serviced, the carrying case interior is heavily worn but does date from the late 60s
- Takes 16mm movie film (100ft rolls)
- Frame rates 16, 24, 32 48 fps
- Due to size and weight UK shipping or collection only
