SERIAL:
- A desirable, late, enlarger made by DURST: the M670 Color
- The Color (Colour) head is ideal for modern B&W printing as we use
Multigrade type paper/s these days. They require coloured light to control
the contrast grade of the print being made. - Grades 0 to 5 are available, continuously variable by changing the settings
of the yellow and magenta dials. More yellow makes it softer, more magenta
makes it harder. Exact grades settings are in every packet of Ilford’s Multigrade
paper and also online, on Ilford’s website - The enlarger can potentially illuminate both 35mm and medium format negatives
up to 6x7cm - At present only the 35mm diffuser box is included, diffuser boxes for 6×7
are available online - Fully checked and fully working; 12v 100w lamp working well, all surfaces cleaned
- This example comes with a 46(D) x 50(W)cm baseboard and a maximum
110cm column - This is a superb enlarger for a dedicated worker who wants a top quality, late enlarger
- Versatile movements, head can be swung through 90 degrees or taken off
completely. Lens stage holds red filter too - Comes with an excellent lens for 35mm negatives: a Durst Neonon (Made in Japan)
50mm f/2.8. Optics are clean and clear, no visible fault/s - Negative carrier holds up to 6×7 format negatives (without the included masks) and
comes with mask inserts for 35mm negatives. Further masks and glasses are
available for the negative carrier online - A small 10×8″ easel from Paterson is also included
- Transformer (TRA 305N) comes with a 2-pin ‘Continental’ plug fitted, ideal for
most timers. I can swap this for a 3-Pin UK Mains plug if preferred, just ask - We have timers, dev dishes, thermometers, washers, dryers, focus finders
and a myriad other things for darkrooms – just ask! - Collection welcomed from our shop in Liverpool
- Delivery isn’t easy with something this large and heavy, but we
