Excellent Leitz Leica 35mm f/2.8 SUMMARON-M Lens + Caps (1959)

• Classic desirable lens from Leica, for the M series cameras, 35mm being the preferred focal length of Henri Cartier-Bresson
• This example is the later Summaron, being of a faster aperture (f/2.8) than the earlier (f/3.5) version
• It is presented in excellent condition
• Dating to 1959, this shows barely any marks of wear or use, just one or two marks on the front perimeter of the lens where the hood has sat in contact
• Glass is crystal clear, clean and lustrous
• Focus is smooth and right
• Apertures are light, yet firm, on their click stops
