using Multigrade type paper/s. ‘Vario-Contrast’ was Agfa’s
name for Ilford’s Multigrade, effectively the same formula - Grades 0 to 5 are available, continuously variable
- The enlarger can potentially illuminate both 35mm and
medium format negatives up to 6x7cm - At present only the 35mm diffuser box is included,
diffuser boxes for 6×7 are available online - Fully checked and fully working; 12v 100w lamp
working well, all surfaces cleaned - This example comes with a 46(D) x 50(W)cm baseboard
and a maximum 110cm column - This is a superb enlarger for a dedicated worker who
wants a top quality, late enlarger - Versatile movements, head can be swung through 90
degrees or taken off completely. Lens stage holds red filter too - Comes with an excellent lens for 35mm negatives: a
Schneider Componon-S 50mm f/2.8. Optics are clean
and clear, no visible fault/s - Negative carrier holds up to 6×7 format negatives
(without the included masks) and comes with mask inserts
for 35mm negatives. Further masks and glasses are available
for the negative carrier online - Comes with a 2-pin ‘Continental’ plug fitted. I can swap this for
a 3-Pin UK Mains plug if preferred, 2-pin plugs are frequently
required for using with timers. - We have timers, dev dishes, thermometers, washers, dryers,
focus finders and a myriad other things for darkrooms – just ask! - Collection welcomed from our shop in Liverpool
- Delivery is possible at fuel cost expense (50 mpg)
