Description
- A classic 35mm film enlarger from Leica / Leitz, complete with lens
- This was the top Leitz enlarger design (for 35mm) before the 1980’s V35, and
offered automatic focusing when moving from one enlargement to another, after being set up correctly - External (& internal) cosmetic condition is excellent, the best example I have seen in many years (over a decade)
- I have fully cleaned the condenser and also rewired the mains lead attached to the enlarger. Mains lead is c. 2m long now and terminates in a UK 3-pin plug
- The rest of the wiring is checked and is good to use
- The enlarger comes with the baseboard mounted switch on the left hand side
- Baseboard size is 40(W) x 52cm (D)
- The column is 90cm high, when the head is fully extended the height is 125cm in total
- Negative carrier is standard 24x36mm, in excellent condition
- Comes with the genuine Leitz red filter, swinging into position, or not
- This will be sold with an EL Nikkor 50mm f/4 lens and cap in usable, but not as new, condition
- Comes with a Philips Photocrescenta 75w (240v) lamp, ES27 fit (Edison Screw 27mm diameter), in excellent condition
- The long metal handle on the baseboard is to lock a Leitz Masking Frame into place on the, it has been removed as not everyone uses an old Leitz frame.
- The 2nd metal implement is the spanner for locking and unlocking the metal handle
- Original Instruction Manual is included
- Please ask for darkroom gear to go with this: easel, contact printer, dishes, grain focuser, safelight, washers, tongs, print dryer, paper, chemicals, etc.
- Shipping might be possible but will not be easy or cheap, as the column cannot be separated from the baseboard (due to internal wiring) so requires a very large box
