- Complete boxed item in good condition
- Vintage film, offering faded colours from behind the Iron Curtain! (East Germany, GDR)
- This suggests (on the backing paper) that it is also capable of being used in 620 cameras (as well as 120)
- NC19 stands for Negative Colour 19 DIN (a German standard for designating the sensitivity of film). 19 DIN is equivalent to 64 ASA
- Due to the age of this, I would suggest shooting this at a speed of either 25 or 50 ASA. Slow speed films do not lose their speed as quickly as ‘faster’ films. I have taken photos on film from the 1920s
- This film has been stored in a cool environment since acquired, though I have no knowledge of previous storage conditions, perhaps it was stored in a Siberian gulag for many years? Maybe not…
